Saud Imran assumes charge as Member Technical of Customs Appellate Tribunal

LAHORE: Saud Imran, a grade 20 officer of the Pakistan Customs Service, has assumed the charge of Member Technical of the Customs Appellate Tribunal, Lahore. Now the bench-I of the Customs Appellate Tribunal has been completed where Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar is already performing as Member Judicial.

Before joining as Member Technical in Customs Appellate Tribunal, he was posted as Collector in Customs Collectorate Multan.

Source told Customs Today that Saud Imran is a grade 20 officer but is posted as member technical and will receive pay and allowances of a grade 21 officer.

It is further learnt that Collector Saud Imran is a competent officer of the Pakistan Customs Service and he will utilise his vast experience which he gained while working in various departments of the Federal Board of Revenue. He boosted the revenues of Multan Customs and achieved the assigned revenue collection tasks. He is appointed in Customs Appellate Tribunal as Member Technical for three years.
