“Middle East and North Africa region imported Saudi products worth SAR8.5 billion during the past year,” says Abalkhail, adding that “this suggests that there are great opportunities for the Saudi manufacturers to increase their market share in MENA region over the next five years.”

Abalkhail says: “To increase Saudi products’ market share, the Saudi Export Development Authority has developed a work plan that aims at finding opportunities for companies that are ready to export – exporting channels, linking exporters and international buyers, promoting Saudi products, providing information on exporting opportunities and, finally, improve the efficiency of the export environment and facilitate access to international markets by supporting exporters and implement encouraging exporting policies and develop the exporting environment.”
