RIYADH: The Ministry of Agriculture has banned meat imports from the Armavir Province in Armenia due to the outbreak of foot and mouth disease (FMD). The Saudi Drug and Food Authority (SFDA) said that the ban would include cattle, sheep, goals and deer and their products. The OIE-World Organisation for Animal Health had issued an advisory following the outbreak of the FMD virus in the province of Armavir.
