RIYADH: The custom officials at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah have foiled an attempt to smuggle cocaine into Saudi Arabia.
According to the Arabic daily Alyaum, they screened the smuggler and discovered capsules containing 1.622 kilograms of cocaine in his stomach.
King Abdulaziz International Airport Customs acting director-general Said Al-Ghamdi said the smuggler looked dubious and unsettled when he was checking-in which prompted the officers to screen him.
