RIYADH: Customs officers foiled an attempt to smuggle in 61,993 amphetamine pills (Captagon) through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
They searched a passenger who looked dubious on his arrival at the airport and seized the pills which were hidden in his suitcase.
The smuggler covered the amphetamine pills with blue carbon and hid them inside 15 ladies gowns but it was of no use.
