SBP contingent to participate in inter provincial games

LAHORE: The Sports Board Punjab’s contingent will leave here for Peshawar on Friday to feature in 4th Inter-Provincial Games, scheduled to be held there from March 18.

The Punjab contingent will participate in around two dozen male and female disciplines of the games. Punjab athletes will display their talent in the following sports disciplines during the mega event: Archery, athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, bodybuilding, boxing, karate, rowing, rugby, softball, squash, golf, gymnastics, handball, hockey, ju-jitsu, kabaddi, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, tug-of-war, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling and wushu.

Moreover, the members of Punjab contingent continued to train at training camps on Thursday under the supervision of expert coaches.

On the final day of training, top coaches delivered the lectures and taught the players how to cope with pressure situations during a sports competition.
