KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has mopped up liquidity, amounting to Rs61.55 billion in the banking system at the rate of return of 5.84 percent per annum, a bank statement said.
The central bank conducted Open Market Operation (OMO) for one-day tenor for which amount offered was Rs87.45 billion. The SBP received 21 bids and accepted 13 bids for the auction.
