SBP says 1 out of 4 firms operational under Credit Bureau Bill 2015; NA proposes amendment in Bill

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance and Revenue expressed grave apprehensions over the Credit Bureau Bill 2015, and proposed to make amendment in bill before approval.

On the occasion, Deputy Governor State Bank of Pakistan and Secretary Finance briefed the committee on the proposed bill. Deputy Governor SBP informed that currently four companies are registered under the Credit Bureau Act, however only one company namely Data Check is operating.
