KARACHI: The liquid foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan decreased by $72 million to $15.752 billion during the week ending January 15 from $15.824 billion of the previous week.
According to the central bank, the country’s total reserves stood at $20.689 billion during the corresponding week as compared to $20.759b in the previous week. The other banks’ holdings were $4.937b as compared to $4.935b. During the week, the SBP made payments of $83m on account of external debt servicing.
