KARACHI: The foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistn decreased by $102 million to $14,918 million ($14.9 billion) on the week ending October 23, as compared to $15,020 million in the previous week.
The total foreign reserves held by the country stood at $19,818.7 million on 23 October 2015.
The break-up of the foreign reserves position released by central bank, foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at $14,918.3 million, net foreign reserves held by banks are $4,900.4 million, thus total liquid foreign reserves reached at $19,818.7 million. During the corresponding week, SBP made payments of $123 million on account of external debt servicing and other official payments.
