LAHORE: Supreme Court of Pakistan has rejected the bail application of drug smuggler namely Ghulam Murtaza and sent to jail.
Yesterday, two members bench of Supreme Court under the supervision of Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chudhary heared the case of drug smuggler Ghulam murtaza where the counsel of suspect argued that police has registered fake case. He added that the suspects has shopkeeper and he has no link with the drug smuggling so the court accepts his bail application.
On the other side additional prosecutor general Mazahar Sher Awan has submitted the police record and argued that police has arrested suspect Ghulam Murtaza with red handed and recovered two kilograms cocaine from him possession.
After hearing the arguments from both sides the court has rejected the bail application of suspet and send to jail.
