SIALKOT: A large number of the Sialkot exporters today attended a prestigious ceremony held at the auditorium of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here today to pay tributes to the victims of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar.
The Sialkot exporters paid rich tributes to all the victims of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar. They termed the day of Dec 16, 2014 as the blackest day in the human history.
Addressing the participants, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Maj (Rtd) Mansur Ahmed expressed complete solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan and they also pledged to make all out sincere individual and collective efforts to weed out terrorism from the country.
SCCI President Maj (Rtd) Mansur Ahmed hosted this prestigious ceremony to express solidarity with the families of the martyrs besides giving a very strong message that we stand united and firm against all evil designs.
On this occasion, Sialkot businessmen’s leader Riazud Din Sheikh, SCCI SVP Muhammad Sarfraz Butt, VP Ehtesham Gillani and former SCCI President Dr. Muhammad Aslam Dar, while delivering their speeches, expressed complete solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan and they also pledged to make all out sincere individual and collective efforts to weed out terrorism from the country.
They added said that the whole of Pakistani nation stands united against terrorism and was ready to sacrifice their lives while battling against terrorism shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of Pakistan.
SCCI’s Research and Development Officers (RDOs) Abdul Rauf Mughal, Umair Nisar, Salman Mir, Miss Mehmooda Butt, Miss Atqa Arshad, Proejct Director CSDO Ejaz Ahmed and senior journalists also actively attended the ceremony. They also expressed complete solidarity with the grieved families of APS Peshawar victims.
On this occasion, the students from different local schools including the students of Child and Social Development Organization (CSDO) presented several anti terrorism skits and tableaus and paid rich tributes to all the victims of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar.
The Sialkot exporters renewed pledge to sacrifice even their lives to weed out terrorism, extremism and militancy from the country.
Meanwhile, a largely attended candle light vigil was also held in the premises of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), where the hundreds of the Sialkot exporters lit the candles and lamps there in memory of APS Peshawar victims. They also laid floral bouquets there, besides, offering Fateha for the eternal peace of the APS Peshawar victims.
The participants were carrying banners and placards and they chanted anti terrorism slogans, besides, paying the rich tributes to all the victims of APS Peshawar.
