SYDNEY: Nintendo of Europe’s website posted schedule release which shows the release dates of both Splatoon and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
It’s possible that the posting is legitimate and was posted as an accident ahead of time.
According to the said listing, the upcoming third-person shooter Splatoon will release on May 29 in Europe, while side-scrolling platormer Yoshi’s Woolly World will arrive on June 26.
Additionally, the listing mentioned that Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush and the Puzzle and Dragons Dual Pack are coming on May 8, and Code Name: S.T.E.A.M is set for release on May 15.
Splatoon was previously confirmed to launch in May, and hence this news gives credence to that release time-frame. The game was revealed at E3 2014 and carries an interesting concept.
The four-vs-four online shooter has players shooting with “ink-guns” and after which can swim through the paint in order to travel around and dodge attacks. The colors of inks are vital in this regard.
