DUNDEE: Police in Dundee have seized heroin and cocaine with an estimated street value of £160,000.
Four men aged between 21 and 41 have been arrested in relation to the September 30 seizure.
Two of the men, Kieran Mcanearney, 21, of Ladywell Avenue, and Callum Bertie, 23, of Cliffburn Gardens, appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court.
They face two charges of allegedly being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine with others at various locations in Dundee on September 30.
It is alleged by prosecutors that both offences were aggravated by a connection with serious organised crime.
Bertie faces two further charges alleging being concerned in the supply of cocaine and lashing out at police officers on October 1.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that four men aged 22, 23, 21 and 41 have been charged in relation to drugs offences following the recovery of £100,000 of heroin and £60,000 of cocaine.”
It is the second major drugs seizure in Dundee in a week. Officers recovered £130,000 worth of heroin in a separate operation.
