WHITECRAIG: A 48-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged after police seized £3,500-worth of cannabis plants from a house in Whitecraig on Monday.
Police described the haul, which was found less than a fortnight after officers seized 660 plants, with a value of £165,000 from a house in Haddington, as “significant”.
Local Area Commander CI Matt Paden said: “Acting on intelligence, officers recovered another cannabis cultivation from a residential property in East Lothian. We will act on any intelligence we receive to remove these drugs and bring perpetrators to justice.”
