SECP assures LTBA of resolving shareholders’ issues

LAHORE: Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Additional registrar of Companies Liaqat Ali Dola has assured Lahore Tax Bar Association of early resolution of the issues confronted by the shareholders, directors and their representatives.

Dola was addressing lawyers at the Lahore Tax Bar Association at a seminar arranged by the Bar here. He said that all the issues including digital certificate fee, online system shortcomings, attitude of the SECP officials, shortcomings in fast track system, NOC from religious ministry, CEES related issues and others.

LTBA President Qari Habibur Rehman Zubairi said that though SECP has taken many strong measures to facilitate shareholders and directors of the companies, there was a need to properly implement the reform in letter and spirit.

On the occasion Principal of Quaid-e-Azam College Nafeer A Malik, Joint Registerar Sidra Mansoor, Joint Registrar Companies Shahbaz Sarwar, Joint Registrar companies Shaukat Hameed and Ashiq Ali were also present.
