Security tightened at RTO; employment card necessary for motorocyclists

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) Lahore has announced that due to security reasons, motorcycles of only those employees will be allowed to enter the premises of the office who have employment cards.

As per details, authorities have taken such security measures after getting instructions from security agencies to protect the employees as well as the building.

The authorities concerned have directed all those employees of RTO Lahore who have motorcycles that it is a must for all officials to prove their identity before entering the office.

They said that new rule would be effective from March 2, 2015.

Earlier, the RTO Lahore chief commissioner had made it mandatory that only security-ticketholder cars were allowed to enter the office. Now, orders have been issued for motorcyclists too.
