LAHORE: The Lahore Tax Bar Association (LTBA) has held a seminar on Income Tax Returns here at the Tax House Lahore. Lahore Tax Bar Association President Munsha Sukhera, General Secretary Ch Qamaruz Zaman and a large number of income tax practitioners, chartered accountants and advocates participated in the seminar.
General Secretary Ch Qamaruz Zaman explained his presentation in solutions of hurdles in the filing of tax returns and criticized the Federal Board of Revenue’s new software IRIS for creating confusion and putting the taxpayers in trouble.
He urged the FBR to increase its number of staff who are issuing NTNs, adding that taxpayers should be facilitated by the FBR officials to enhance tax base and promote tax culture.
