ISLAMABAD: The standing committee of the Senate on Water and Power will meet on Monday to take up a nine-point agenda inclusive of reviewing progress of the on-going power generation projects.
According to an official notification, the meeting, to be chaired by Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir (Chairman), would also deliberate upon the issues including amendment in Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB) Ordinance, the national efficiency and conservation bill, relief to SOS villages, loadshedding schedules for the summer and holy month of Ramzan.
The Committee would also take up the matter of supplying power to the industrial sector during upcoming Ramzan or any other matter of importance with the approval of the chair.
