Senate body to review progress of on-going power projects

ISLAMABAD: The standing committee of the Senate on Water and Power will meet on Monday to take up a nine-point agenda inclusive of reviewing progress of the on-going power generation projects.

According to an official notification, the meeting, to be chaired by Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir (Chairman), would also deliberate upon the issues including amendment in Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB) Ordinance, the national efficiency and conservation bill, relief to SOS villages, loadshedding schedules for the summer and holy month of Ramzan.
