Sepoys, hawaldars of Appraisement West asked to wear neat and clean uniform

KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate Appraisement West has strictly instructed all the sepoys and hawaldars to be in neat and clean uniform during duty hours. In this regard, the Custom House Officer, Appraisement West has also issued an office order.

“It has been noticed with grave concern that sepoys and hawaldars of the Collectorate are not performing official duty in complete uniform, which is against the office decorum,” according to a letter exclusively available with Customs Today.

“Henceforth, all sepoys, hawaldars are directed to wear neat and clean uniform during office hours failing which strict disciplinary action shall be initiated besides disconfirmation of performance allowance”, the letter added.
