Service Tribunal to hear 21 cases against FBR on Monday

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal will hear 21 cases on Monday submitted by employees of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), including five female petitioners.

A division bench comprising Chairman Justice (R) Syed Zahid Hussain, and Member Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi would hear 15 cases. All of these cases were filed related to the promotion matter.

Five female petitioners, Sonia Anwar, Asra Farooq, Naila Ashraf, Mona Baqir, Syeda Urooj and male petitioners, Abdul Rasool, Shamsheer Seelre, Adnan Shahid, Abdul Karim, Hassan Mabroor, Altaf Memon, Ehsaan Ullah Khan, Kashif Khan, Abdul Hammed Mughsi and M Asim had prayed the tribunal to decide the matter of their promotions, which was, as they say, was not provided to them yet at FBR despite serving for several years.

Meanwhile, couple of other benches would hear FBR staffers’ cases filed by Saeed Ullah Khan, Amir Khan, Syed Sultan Abbas, Syed Asif Ullah, Rao Abdul Qayyum, and M Arshad Rahim.
