SYDNEY: Nissan has released pricing details for the 2015MY Sentra, which comes with more standard equipment and is on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide. The seventh-generation Sentra has a starting price of $16,480 exclusive of $825 destination charges for the base S trim which now has standard USB connectivity, Bluetooth hands-free, cruise control, smart auto headlights and illuminated controls on the steering wheel.
Nissan says SV (from $18,300) is the most popular trim and for the 2015 model year it includes a sliding front armrest, intelligent key, rearview monitor and Nissan Connect with a 5-inch color screen and support for SiriusXM, Bluetooth audio streaming, hands-free text messaging alert, easy-fill tire alert, smart auto headlights along with a leather steering wheel & shift knob. The 2015 Sentra SR (starts at $19,910) now packs heated front seats and side mirrors with LED turn signals, as well as rear disc brakes, 6-speaker sound system, intelligent key, 5-inch color display, SiriusXM, leather steering wheel & shift knob and more.
The range-topping Sentra SL (at $20,670) features leather upholstery, heated front seats and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. At an additional cost, the client can order a Bose 8-speaker sound system, dual zone climate control, push button ignition system and other goodies. Nissan has also added four new exterior paints called Titanium, Red Alert (SR exclusive), Cayenne Red and Fresh Powder, thus increasing the total number to 11 hues. The 2015 Nissan Sentra is powered by a 4-cylinder 1.8-L engine with 130 bhp (97 kW) and 128 lb-ft (173 Nm). It’s mated to either a 6-speed manual or an Xtronic continuously variable transmission.
