Shabbir Churra appointed as FPCCI’s  body on customs convener

KARACHI: President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Anjum Nisar has appointed well-known industrialist Shabbir Mansha Churra as a conveyor of FPCCI’s central standing committee on customs for the year 2020.

The notification issued by the FPCCI states that Churra, using his experience and excellent services, should play a vital role in solving the problems facing the business community regarding the Customs Department.

The newly appointed conveyor of FPCCI is also a member of the Executive Committee for 2020 as well as the FPCCI’s Budget Proposals team.

In addition, Shabbir Mansha Churra is the founding chairman of the Pakistan Artificial Leather Importers & Merchants Association (PALIMA). He also specializes in FBR related matters, including customs.

Earlier Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) appointed Hasan Shaikh Vohra of Walkers Travel, Clifton, Karachi as deputy convener of central standing committee.

A notification issued by FPCCI President Mian Anjum Nisar read “I am pleased to appoint you as deputy convener of FPCCI’s central standing committee on “tourism development” for the year 2020.
