Shahbaz reviews work on Saaf Pani Project

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while presiding over a high-level meeting, reviewed pace of work on Saaf Pani Project being carried out in Punjab province.

The chief minister said that the project must be accelerated because it is directly linked to public health. He said that clean drinking water is the right of every citizen and the provincial government would give the right to the people through this project.

Sharif said that billions of rupees will be spent on the project during next three years and the scope of the project will be expanded to the whole province under a phased programme. He said that implementation of the project should be ensured during the stipulated period and no delay would be tolerated in this regard.
