JEDDAH: What better way to ring in the new year than to reveal new characters from two of the most anticipated fighting games of 2015? First came the announcement of bringing Kung Lao to Mortal Kombat X and now Tekken 7 director Katsuhiro Harada has revealed a new character for the game named “Shaheen.” Hailing from Saudi Arabia, details on the newcomer (who looks suspiciously similar to Omar Borkan) are currently scarce, but from the picture below he is clearly a departure from any of the series’ past characters.
