SHANGHAI: Officers of Shanghai Customs District and local Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Department co-inspected 7 automobiles which were imported for Auto Shanghai 2015. This is the first consignment of imported goods that had been inspected by Shanghai Customs District under the new model of “Joint Inspection, Single Release” for exhibits.

The 16th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (also known as “Auto Shanghai 2015”) was held from April 22 to 29. Shanghai Customs District used the new clearance model of “Joint Inspection, Single Release” in the auto show of 2015, which was a step taken to execute the reform program of integrated clearance that works on the basis of the “three mutuals” . The new clearance model combined the linear and separate operation Customs and CIQ system together and turned them into one synchronized and “parallel” clearance procedure. With such a one-stop work approach, the exhibitors could enjoy more clearance convenience and efficient services given to the exhibits.
