DUBAI: Sharjah hosted World Forum for Foreign Direct Investment 2015 under the theme “Where East Meets West”. His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the forum.
Dr Shaikh Sultan said in his keynote speech that Sharjah’s integrated economic environment, developed infrastructure and sound legislation makes the emirate a promising potential and safe haven for investors.
Looking to transform the emirate into a knowledge-based economy, Dr Shaikh Sultan said that economic sustainability is based on knowledge and qualified human capital.
“Creativity and innovation is behind a healthy sustainable economy and that is what we are looking for in Sharjah,” Dr Shaikh Sultan said.
