KARACHI: Sindh High Court, restraining the Customs Appraisement East from taking action while hearing a constitutional petition filed by Super House (Private) Limited, has adjourned hearing till Feb 2.

A SHC’s division bench was hearing the petitioner company’s counsel who submitted that consignment of artificial leather was properly assessed and was “out of charge” when DIT officials intercepted the same. The petitioner‘s counsel maintained that any action would be violation of section 25 of the Customs Act 1969.
