SHC adjourns hearing till 21st in confiscation case of oil tankers by Customs

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has adjourned hearing of three special customs reference applications (SCRAs) till September 21.

An SHC’s appellate bench, comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Anwar Hussain, gave the last opportunity to Hyderabad Customs during the hearing of SCRAs, filed by Bashir Ahmed, Najbeeb-ur-Rahman and Ahmed Ishaque who sought release of oil tankers owned by them but were confiscated for allegedly carrying smuggled high speed diesel.
