SHC customs appellate bench hears petitions against RD

KARACHI: A Sindh High Court’s customs appellate bench has heard a number of new petitions against imposition of regulatory duty (RD).

The bench was comprised of Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Omar Sial. Kamal Azfar advanced was giving arguments in a petition after which the bench deferred further proceedings till Nov 16 when Additional Attorney General Salman Talibuddin will make arguments on behalf of federal government, main respondent in hundreds of petitions against RD.
