Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar dismissed the contempt application as it was “not pressed” by the applicant/plaintiff after consignment in dispute was released overnight after contempt plea was filed.

Universal Mark Marketing Services moved the contempt of court application alleging violation of the above said court order.

Kashif Nazeer advocate, counsel for alleged contemnor, took plea that clearance of consignment was delayed due to some misunderstanding. The plaintiff side was asked to supply some documents but they too acted with a delay, he submitted.

The counsel for plaintiff at this stage submitted that he has instructions from plaintiff/applicant to withdraw the contempt plea as the consignment was in process of being released.
