SHC issues notice in Horizon International case

KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued notices to the custom authorities of Port Muhammad Bin Qasim for Nov 30 in a petition filed by Horizon International.

The bench earlier heard Hyder Shaikh advocate of Franklin Law Associates who submitted that the consignment of Indian suiting was illegally detained due to which petitioner was being forced to pay demurrage. He said that official of collectorate concerned are refusing issuance of delay detention certificate. The petitioner has to suffer for no fault of his, the counsel submitted. The bench after hearing initial arguments ordered issuance of notices for Nov 30 to the respondent side.
