SHC issues notice to Customs I&I on petition filed by Sameed Int’l Trading Company

KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC), Customs Appellate Tribunal bench comprising Justice Muhammad Junaid Ghaffar and Justice Adnan-ul-Karim Memon has issued notice to Directorate of Customs Intelligence & Investigations (I&I) and directed the Collectorate concerned not to auction the subject goods till next date of hearing.

Earlier during hearing of the case Ghulam Haider Shaikh, counsel for petitioner submitted before the bench that petitioner has challenged the Order in Original (OnO) in Custom Appeal K-236 of 2024 before Custom Appellate Tribunal Karachi bench. He expressed concern that custom authorities may auction the subject goods.
