SHC issues notices to Customs Valuation for Dec 14

KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Muhammad Humayun Khan on Thursday issued notices to the Director General, Valuation and other custom officials of West and East in two identical petitions.

The petitioners MS International and Kiran Products limited who imported tooth brushes and Menthol Crystals moved the court against enhancement of value by the Director General, Valuation being arbitrary and beyond jurisdiction.
