KARACHI: A Sindh High Court’s customs appellate bench has ordered officials of Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations to produce a vehicle before the court on Nov 16.
The bench, comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Omar Sial, was hearing an identical petition filed by one Mansoor Bhagwani against confiscation of a Toyota X vehicle which he claimed to have purchased from a motor showroom, ordered Customs officer concerned to produce the vehicle before court on Nov 16 after the court examined questions of law formulated by the customs department in SCRA filed against order of Tribunal passed in favour of the petitioner/owner of vehicle.
The bench noted that questions of law were not formulated as required.
