SHC orders Customs to produce impounded Land Cruiser

KARACHI: A Sindh High Court’s Customs appellate bench has ordered the Customs authorities concerned to produce the impounded Land Cruiser on Sept 28.

The bench was hearing the constitution petition filed by Khalid Hussain whose vehicle was confiscated by the Intelligence and Investigation directorate of Pakistan Customs on charges of being smuggled and tampered chassis number.

Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate appeared for the petitioners and submitted that the vehicle was duly purchased and petitioners do possess all documents including import papers.
