KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered Customs authorities to return two oil tankers, confiscated on alleged oil smuggling.
The Custom Authorities on order of SHC appellate bench, comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Arshad Hussain Khan, produced the vehicles. The Nazir of the court who was to take custody of the two was told that these vehicles are filled with oil. The fact was brought into the notice of the court and consequence in case of an accident or fire.
The bench in view of above, ordered the Custom officials to take back the oil tankers, de-fill the same and produce the same again on May 02, 2017. The appellant was represented by Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate.
