SHC orders reassessment of vitamin tablets consignment

KARACHI: Sindh High Court Justice Shafi Muhammad Siddiqui has issued order to re-assessment of a consignment of multi vitamin tablets.

The bench earlier heard Ghulam ullah Sheikh advocate of Franklin Law Associates appearing for the plaintiff. The counsel briefed by CEO Faisal Ghani submitted before the bench that the defendants are not releasing the consignment and are adamant on assessing and securing Customs Duty on the basis of a guide line in the presence of a Valuation Ruling. He drew the attention of the court to orders passed in other petitions earlier and said court has been pleased to order re-assessment in cite cases.
