SHC reserves verdict on enhancement of value

KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of Sindh High Court (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Agha Faisal on Monday disposed of two identical petitions challenging the enhancement of custom value by Director General, Valuation in violation of section 25-D of Customs Act 1969.

The bench first heard a petition by Zahid World Corporation, importer of tiles from different sources. The second petition was filed by AMA Corporation.
