The bench took strong exception and said action would be taken for an incorrect statement made before the court by any side. The bench then asked the importer to file an affidavit by Aug 31, stating that whether the statement made by the respondent officer is correct or not or whether he failed in lifting the same after consignment was released by the Pakistan Customs.
