KARACHI:Four ships C.V CMA CGM Rabelais,C.V Maersk Hartford, M.V Eastern Star and M.T GSW Frontier carrying containers,iron ore and palm oil were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal.
 These ships berthed at iron ore & coal and Liquid Cargo Terminal respectively at Port Qasim on Wednesday. 
 Berth occupancy was observed at the Port at forty seven percent on Wednesday,where seven ships namely C.V CMA CGM Rabelais, C.V Maersk Hartford,M.V Panorama, M.V Eastern Star, M.I GSW Frontier, M.T
Exquisite and M.T Lahore were occupied PQA berths to load/ offload
Containers, Soya Canola Seeds, Iron Ore, LNG palm oil and Furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
Cargo throughput during last 24 hours stood at 145,116 tonnes comprises 120,074 tonnes imports, and 25,042 tonnes exports inclusive containerized cargo carried in 2,918 containers (TEUs) (2,026 imports
and 752 exports TEUs) were handled at the Port.

Departures:    
Oil tanker 'Lahore' and bulk cargo carrier 'panorama' sailed out on Thursday morning, while three more ships C.V CMA CGM Rabelais  C.V Maersk Hartford and M.T GSW Frontier are expected to sail the same day (Today).
     
Arrival Schedule:
Two ships C.V Navrino and M.T Hermione carrying containers and
diesel oil are expected to take berths at Container Terminal and FOTOC
Oil Terminal respectivaly today, while three more ships C.V Rio Madeira, C.V Hansa Ameica and C.V Kumasi are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Friday.
