KARACHI: Four ships carrying container,s fertilizer, chemical and diesel oil were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and FOTCO Terminal and FOTCO Terminal respectively.
Meanwhile four more ships carrying containers, furnace oil and LPG Mix also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 55% at the port on Monday where total six ships namely ACX Diamon, MSC Antalya, Zilos, Espon Trader, DL Ace and Bahra are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, fertilizer, soyabeen, chemical and diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 61635 tonnes comprising 48195 tonnes imports and 13440 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2508 containers (TEUs) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
