KARACHI:five ships, MSC Meava, MS Tiger MSC Saturn, Spring Melody and Guangz Hoyu carrying Contauners, Coal and Chemicals were allotted berths at Qasim International Containers Terminals, PQFPCT and EVTL Terminal respectively on Monday.
A total number of fourteen ships namely, MSC Meava, MS Tiger, MSC Saturn, Anne-I spring Melody, Pacific Valour, Elsa, Borno, Al Marrouva, Ocean Princess, Dewi Sarabwati, Stahla, Ghang Zhou, Wall Eye and Chembulk Shanghai are currently occuoying PQA berths to load/offload Containers, Coal, LNG< Bitumen, Palm kernel Soya Been seeds, Chemicals, Diesel oil and Edible Oil respectively during last 24 hours. A Cargo volume of 101475 tones, comprising 82114 tones import cargo and 19361 tones export cargo inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2638 Containers (TEUs), (1619 TEUs imports and 1019 TEUs exports) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours. Five ships, MSC Saturn, Borno, Tiger, Chem Bulk Shanghal and Wall Eye are saled out on Monday. Five ships, CSAV Tyndall, MSC Esths, Northern Monument, Adele Marina and Atlas With containers, Gas oil and Edible Oil are expected to take berths at QICT, IOICO and ICT respeclively on Tuesday.
