KARACHI: Four Ships C.V Maipo, M.V Ocean Prince, M.T Atlantic Glory and M.T Orient Star carrying Containers, Soyabean seeds, diesel oil and chemicals were arranged berthing at Qasim International containers Terminal, Grain & Fertilizer Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Thursday. In the meantime two more vessels San Christobal and M.T Gas Lion with containers and LPG also got anchored at outer anchorage of Port Qasim.
Berth Occupancy was observed at the port at sixty seven percent on Thursday where a total of ten ships namely C.V Maipo, C.V Conti Annapurna, M.V Julia Oldendroff, M.V Trans Shanghai, M.V Ocean Price, M.T Globe Tanya, M.T White Purl, M.T Atlantic Glory, M.T Umm Bab and M.T Orient Star Were occupied PQA berths to load/offload containers cola, canola seeds, soya bean seeds, chemicals, LPG, LNG and diesel oil, chemicals and LPG respectively during last 24 hours.
Four ships C.V Maipo, M.T White Purl M.V Julia Oldendroff and M.T Umm Bab are expected to sail on Thursday afternoon. Three ships C.V San christobal, C.V Maersk Innoshima and M.T Bhai Ravi carrying container and Chemicals are expected to take berths at Container Terminal and Engro Terminal respectively on Friday. While another ship C.V MSC Athens is due to arrive at Port Qasim on Saturday, C.V MSC Vittoria, C.V Anke and C.V TG Poseidon are due to arrive on Sunday,
