Shipping Association to represent Pakistan at InterModal Conference

The All Pakistan Shipping Association (APSA) would be representing Pakistan at the InterModal Europe 2014 Conference to be held at Rotterdam Ahoy from November 11-13, 2014.

Intermodal Europe is the world-leading exhibition and conference for companies associated with the container and intermodal industries and covers all areas of container transport and logistics across road, rail and sea. The event provides an invaluable industry forum, bringing together high-quality speakers and key exhibitors.

Intermodal Europe is a three day free-to-attend exhibition and conference for logistics professionals. The container forum, to be held in the Innovation Theatre on second day of the event, will be chaired by Michael Callus, general manager of the Container Owners Association (COA).

Feature sessions will include a workshop about shipping and freight forwarding, a container forum, intermodal market trends and focuses on Asia and technology, among others. A workshop for shippers and freight forwarders titled ‘Intelligent Logistics through Partnering in the Supply Chain’ will be held on the second day of the three-day event.

APSA Chairman Aasim Siddiqui will present ‘Spotlight on Asia’ which will include a conference session titled ‘New Intermodal Routes to Central Asia and China from Europe’.
