SIALKOT: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) of the Model Customs Collectorate has seized 20 cartons of imported soaps and shampoo worth Rs 300,000.
As per details, the ASO received information through Sialkot Customs Collector Ahmad Reza regarding the smuggling of imported soap and shampoo through a bus.
The ASO team established picket near Pindi Bhattian Road and intercepted a passenger bus coming from Peshawar to Sialkot. The officials while searching the bus recovered soap and shampoo, but no one claimed the ownership of the items on which the items were confiscated after considering them smuggled one.
The ASO team comprising Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Erfan, Inspector Mansha and others participated in the raid.
