SIALKOT: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has impounded a mini van and recovered smuggled items.
Sources told Customs Today that Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Choudhary deployed ASO Inspector Sheikh Ikram along with his team on GT Road to check vehicles.
During the checking process, the ASO team intercepted a vehicle and recovered non-duty paid energy drinks, perfumes, and stock of prickly heat powder besides other items. The team has registered a case under the Customs Law and further investigation are underway.
