Sialkot ASO seizes smuggled Rani juice, sprays and firecrackers

SIALKOT: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has seized 102 cartons of Rani Juice and other smuggled items from a Mazda van on Grand Trunk (GT) road near Kamoke Toll Plaza.

ASO incharge Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhary deployed Inspector Sheikh Ikram to check vehicles in order to curb smuggling under anti-smuggling campaign.

The inspector checked many vehicles on GT road near Kamoke Toll Plaza with his team. The team intercepted a Mazda van and recovered 102 cartons of Rani juice and other smuggled items, including sprays, mosquito coils and firecrackers during checking.

The team confiscated all items as the driver failed to show documents regarding the legal import and lawful possession of the items.
