SIALKOT: Collector of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Sialkot Ahmed Reza Khan has appointed Deputy Collector Waheed Anwar Abro and Assistant Collector Ali Mohatashim Minhas to monitor and manage all the matters at the Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL).
As per duty schedule, Deputy Collector Waheed Anwar Abro will perform in the first shift for 12 hours whereas Assistant Collector Ali Mohatashim Minhas will do in the second shift. The officials informed Customs Today that Superintendent Sardar Manzoor will perform at the airport under the supervision of deputy collector whereas Superintendent Muhammad Jaan will perform his duty under the supervision of assistant collector at the airport.
Meanwhile, Superintendent Sohail Butt will perform in night shift. The officials said the Customs Preventive staff will perform duty at the airport with the responsibility of contacting with the said deputy collector and assistant collector for routine matters. They added that such measures have been taken to curb smuggling through airport.
However Deputy Collector Waheed Anwar Abro will also look after all the matters of export cargo and customs clearing agents and he will also perform duty as focal person. Assistant Collector Ali Mohatashim Minhas will also be Incharge of the Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and he will also look after all the matters of recovery of amount from defaulters of the MCC Sialkot while Superintendent Sardar Manzoor will also perform duty as ASO Superintendent and Superintendents Muhammad Jaan and Sohail Butt will also perform duty as Superintendents at Recovery wing.
