It needs to be mentioned here that a suicide bomber targeted the emergency services ward at Quetta’s Civil Hospital when dozens of lawyers gathered at the hospital following the killing of the Balochistan Bar Association’s president, who was shot dead in a separate shooting incident at Monday morning.

The participants said, “We extend our support to the government and Pakistan Army to weed out the terrorisms causing loss of precious lives”. They also prayed for departed souls for their eternal peace.

The participants expressed deep sorrow and shock over the great loss and urged the nation to unite and face the challenges bravely.

However, Collector Ahamd Reza instructed security staff to tighten the security and keep an open eye on dubious people. He also directed to improve the CCTV cameras and check the computerized national identity cards of all visitors.
